MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid the M10 after a lorry overturned at the Park Street roundabout.
The incident happened at about 12.20pm this afternoon (Friday) and as a result the M10 northbound is closed while the road is cleared.
There are delays on the southbound carriageway and some spilt fuel is making the roundabout slippery.
The articulated lorry was carrying a trailer containing steel pallets which are believed to have shifted as the driver went round the Park Street roundabout approaching the M10, causing the vehicle to fall on its side.
The driver, thought to be in his 40s, has suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Watford Hospital for treatment.
