A lorry caught fire on the anti-clockwise M25 last night after its wheels overheated on the slip road heading on to the M1, according to St Albans fire and rescue.
Fire engines from Garston and St Albans attended the scene just before 10pm where the blaze was dealt with by fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus using a hose reel.
The road was not closed and the driver was unhurt.
