GROVE House community fundraiser Liz Hizli is used to encouraging other people to do mad things to raise money for the day hospice.

But she got her come-uppance when she agreed to leap out of an aeroplane at 10,000ft to raise money for Grove House - because she is terrified of heights.

Liz said: "I've watched many other people take part in the skydive. I'm terrified of heights but this year I was determined to join the team, jump through the clouds and raise even more money for the hospice. It was a truly thrilling experience."

To sign up for an experience of a lifetime or to find out more about doing a skydive for Grove House, contact Sannah on 01727 731002 or email sannah.zahid@grove-house.org.uk

There is still an opportunity to sponsor Liz and help her raise over £1,500 for Grove House by visiting her just giving site at www.justgiving. com/elizabethhizli
