A round up of the latest court results from the St Albans district.

Christopher Gunning: 52, of Colindale Avenue, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, after speeding in excess of 30mph along the A412 Rickmansworth Road at Watford on October 29.

Robert Sanders: 44, of Ravenscroft, Harpenden, was fined £335 plus £118 costs and awarded four penalty points after speeding at 42mph along the 30mph Barnet Road at London Colney on July 10.

Ahbab Ali: 29, of Five Acres, London Colney, was fined £400 plus £125 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving with a worn tyre in Watling Street, St Albans, on November 17, and a further £200 for not having an MOT certificate.

Paul Hewetson: 57, of Greyfriars Lane, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £105 costs for driving without a licence along the M1 northbound between J9-10 on October 21.

Meena Patel: 28, of Edmond Beaufort Drive, St Albans, was fined £335 plus £115 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding in excess of 30mph along Leverstock Green Road at Hemel Hempstead on November 12.

Roblul Islam: 25, of Hill End Lane, St Albans, was fined £400 plus £125 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving with worn tyres along the A414 at Hemel Hempstead on December 22.

Balkinder Sandhu: 39, of Netherfield Road, Harpendne, was fined £135 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph Drakes Drive at St Albans on November 20.

Malcolm Rifkin: 57, of Newlyn Close, Bricket Wood, was fined £265 plus £112 costs and awarded five penalty points for speeding at 45mph along the 30mph A5183 at Frogmore on November 17.

Tyrone O’Connor: 26, of Ver Meadows, Redbourn, was fined £115 plus £255 costs for damaging the interior of a police vehicle at Hatfield on May 1.

Lauren Lindsey: 22, of Bell View, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 39mph along the 30mph Leverstock Green Road at Hemel Hempstead on November 7.

Daren Hill: 46, of Stephens Way, Redbourn, was fined £80 plus £20 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 48mph along the 40mph A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road on December 1.

Dominic Beale: 28, of Doggetts Way, St Albans. was fined £295 plus £250 compensation and £115 costs for knowingly causing controlled waste - namely paperwork and household items - to be dumped at Old Parkbury Lane, St Albans, between February 15 and March 7.

Kieran Wylde: 20, of Alexander Road, London Colney, was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £235 costs after assaulting a man by beating at London Colney on May 3.

Stefan Jakeman: 24, of Nuns Lane, St Albans, was committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months, made subject to a restraining order lasting until May 31 2016, and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £380 costs for assaulting a woman by beating at Watford on February 4, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a police office on the same date in St Albans.

Christian Pascale: 22, of Oysterfields, St Albans, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work and pay £150 compensation and £145 costs for assaulting a man by beating at Hemel Hempstead on January 22.

Ryan Burbidge: 26, of Hill End Lane, St Albans, was made subject to a restraining order until November 27, and fined £335 plus £235 costs for assaulting a woman by beating at St Albans on May 17, plus a further £1,765 for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and driving without insurance in Hedley Road, St Albans, on the same date.

Samuel Georgeson: 35, of Macefield Road, Harpenden, was committed to prison for six weeks consecutive to 20 weeks suspended imprisonment for intimidating a wtiness on April 22, suspended for 12 months, made subject to a restraining order until May 20 2016, and ordered to pay £345 costs for assaulting a woman by beating, damaging telephone equipment and threatening to make public private Facebook messages with intent to cause intimidation, at Harpenden on April 22.

James Hawkes: 37, of High Street, London Colney, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £350 compensation and £250 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour at Hatfield on December 30.

Mark Connell: 41, of Noke Shot, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £285 costs for breaching a restraining order imposed by West and Central Herts Magistrates on August 28 2014, at St Albans on May 13.

Wayne Featherstone: 41, of Creighton Avenue, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £285 costs after breaching a restraining order imposed by West and Central Herts Magistrates on July 1 2013, on May 17, and a further £50 compensation for damaging a cell wall at Hatfield.

Helen Aldridge: 47, of Fairhaven, Park Street, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs for wasting police time by making a false report claiming an offence had been committed, at St Albans on November 22.

Ghandhava Flying: 53, of Sheepcross Gardens, Smallford, was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £480 costs after being found in possession of various bladed items - namely a hunting knife a bluck lock knife, two silver lock knives, a camouflaged lock knife, two black lock knives, a Stanley blade lock scraper, a black kitchen knife, a silver kitchen knife, a temperature skewer, a kebab skewer, a knife blade, a box containing a craft knife and blade, a multi-knife utility keyring, two pairs of scissors, a pack of sewing needles, a set of darts and a crack pipe - in Marlborough Road, Watford, on December 2.
