AS SPRING approaches, a college in St Albans is throwing open its doors this weekend for a special lambing day.
Oaklands College will host the free event at its Smallford campus between 10am and 2pm on Sunday, March 6.
Tractor rides, farm tours, family games and tours of the Animal Care Centre on the campus will be on offer as well as the opportunity to watch some lambs being born.
The college has also switched on its popular ‘lamb cam’ so that everyone can witness the birth of some of the 250 lambs expected to be born on campus this Spring. To see the lambing barn, visit http://learn.oaklands.ac.uk/lambcam and for more information about lambing day, visit www.oaklands.ac.uk
