A knife has been recovered from guttering near the site of last week’s fatal stabbing in St Albans according to a Herts Ad source.
Police refused to confirm the discovery but said: “A number of items of interest have been recovered from the scene.”
Emille Stapleton was stabbed to death near a block of flats on London Road last week. Eleven people were arrested and have since been released on bail. A police investigation is ongoing.
Tributes poured in for the 20-year-old, with flowers, pictures and bandanas laid at Benedictine Place, where the incident is alleged to have happened.
