A St Albans club for dementia sufferers has raised £4,522 to continue its work.
The Kingfisher Club, which is based on Catherine Street, held the charity day at Bricket Wood Social Club on Oak Avenue.
A spokesperson said: “Many thanks to all of those who donated. A good day was had by all with a tombola, bric-a-brac and entertainment all day.
“Thanks go to the organisers Sarah Boyce, Lucy Smith, Laine Berry, Tricia Yates, Lisa Buss and Denise McCoole. Also, a special thanks goes to Bill Kelly, Steve Micklewright for being on the microphone, John Rose and Wayne Sweeting, the Bricket Wood Social Club President.
The Mayor of St Albans, Cllr Rosemary Farmer, was also in attendance as were staff and clients from the Kingfisher Club.
