THE traditional pantomime cow was replaced by a goat when stars of the Alban Arena’s Peter Pan joined forces with Oxfam to promote a new range of gifts in the charity’s stores.
Archie the Oxfam pantomime goat made his debut in Peter Pan during a matinee performance yesterday, December 15, after earlier teaming up with panto stars including Larry Lamb and Katy Ashworth to launch the new range of Oxfam Unwrapped gifts – an innovative line of charity presents which can be found at the charity’s shops in St Albans.
Vince Malone, the St Albans Oxfam shop manager, said: “Pantomimes are part of the classic Christmas experience so we’re delighted that the stars of Peter Pan have helped launch the new range of Oxfam Unwrapped gifts in St Albans.
“They’re perfect if you’re struggling to find something for that friend who has everything already.”
