A KARAOKE night with a difference will take place at the weekend.
The event on Sunday– called Karaoke Aid – at Bar 62 in Catherine Street, St Albans, will see people make a donation to a local charity for disadvantaged children and adults for a chance to vote on the songs are sung on the night.
At the event, organised by Shaun Phillips, there are a number of known and less known local faces lined up to sing and there will be ample opportunity for others to take to the microphone.
People can donate at www.justgiving.com/karaokeaid3 or on the day, and there will be a raffle draw with some top prizes.
The evening, held by Embrace Your Mind and Whats On St Albans, will raise much needed funds for Reach Out Plus which is based in St Albans.
