AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into the cause of a house fire which broke out in St Albans last night.
Fire crews were called to the blaze in the doorway of a two-storey house in Townsend Drive at 11pm last night.
The fire was successful extinguished around 45 minutes later, and it was confirmed there were no occupants in the property.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
