A FIGHT between two gangs of men in St Albans in the early hours of Sunday morning resulted in a takeaway employee needing hospital treatment for a cut to the head.
The incident began inside H and H Chicken in Victoria Street between 1.45am and 2am after the two gangs had started shouting at each other. Staff ordered them out and a fight broke out outside.
One of the gangs left but shortly afterwards there was another altercation when the takeaway closed. It left a member of staff with a cut to his head which was treated in hospital.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses, particularly passers-by whom they have not yet had a chance to speak to.
