Illegal St Albans rave interrupted by police

An illegal rave in St Albans with 700 people in attendance was interrupted by police last night.

Police caught up with a large group of people near to St Albans city station and Campfield Road on Saturday, July 15.

This followed a tip-off these people were heading to an illegal rave.

Herts Police posted on their Facebook page at 4am saying there were 700 people gathered at a disused warehouse.

The post also said officers remained in the area to monitor the situation.
