Identity released of St Albans teen found dead

The name of a teen found dead at a St Albans property last week has been released.

The identity of the woman has been confirmed as 18-year-old Sadie Brinkley.

She was found last Tuesday (3) at a property in Hill End Lane, St Albans, following calls of concern to emergency services.

Police found her body at approximately 2.30pm.

Details of her death have been forwarded on to the coroner and an inquest will be held at a later date.

I should probably have taken the hint! Walking out into the garden recently an unprecedented flock of thirty or more crows raucously greeted me from the treetops at the bottom of my garden. Cawing and croaking these big, black birds clung clumsily to the top most branches and twigs, jostling and flapping to stay balanced in a constant flurry of feathers. There is always something ominous about crows – they are after all carrion crows, the vultures of the bird world – always watching for scraps and weakness that might mean their next meal.
