Emergency services rushed to a burning car in St Albans this morning.
It has been confirmed there was a fatality at the incident on Hixberry Lane near Highfield Park.
Witnesess report seeing a burnt vehicle and a “body” at the scene.
Herts police, the East of England Ambulance Service, and The Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at about 9.30am and the area was cordoned off.
The ambulance service report no action was required from them and police officers have advised people to avoid the area for the time being.
