A power cut has affected more than 150 homes around St Albans.
UK Power Networks deliberately switched off the electricity supply to 156 households in AL1 to repair a faulty piece of equipment.
A spokesperson from UK Power Networks said: “For safety reasons we needed to isolate electricity supplies for 156 customers in St Albans around 10.30am today to repair a fault on a piece of electrical equipment.
“Our engineers [were] working to restore power quickly and safely. We appreciate how difficult it is to be without power and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
The power was back up by 1.05pm.
