AN EXPERT on the behaviour of schoolchildren is returning to his roots to divulge his tactics in two sessions.
Professor Bill Rogers, who attended what was then St Albans College of Further Education in the 1960s, is now based in Australia but he will be returning to the University of Herts for two talks on primary and secondary education.
He has confessed to having hated school himself but has turned his experiences into a positive solution for today's schoolchildren.
Book
He has had many books published on the subject and his latest, Behaviour Man-agement With Young Children: Crucial First Steps with Children 3-7 Years, is due out in April.
The event will be held in the Weston Auditorium of Hatfield Campus between 9am and 4pm on January 16.
Tickets cost £55 (£15 student rate) and can be obtained by calling 01707 285695 or by emailing L.A.Garner@herts.ac.uk
