How putting your affairs in order can help boost funds for Rennie Grove Hospice

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is teaming up with local solicitors during February for ‘Make Your Will Month’. Participating solicitors waive their normal fee for a standard will-writing service in return for a donation to the charity.
Director of fundraising and marketing at Rennie Grove, Gillian Barnett, explained: “We’re delighted that more 14 solicitors across Herts and Bucks have signed up to our annual scheme. Their generosity means it won’t cost you any more to make or update an existing will in February – but the big bonus is that local patients and families will benefit.”
Having a will is the only way to ensure your estate is distributed the way you wish when you die. If you die without a will, then predetermined laws govern who gets what, with no guarantee that your loved ones will receive what you intended.
This may cause problems within your family at what is already a difficult time.
Making a will makes things that little bit easier for those you leave behind: they’ll be looked after and they can carry out your wishes with confidence.
By getting involved in Rennie Grove’s scheme you will be getting your own affairs in order and at the same time you’ll be helping to safeguard Rennie Grove’s service for future generations. You may also want to consider leaving a gift in your Will to Rennie Grove as this will enable more patients in the future to have the choice to remain at home and receive its specialist services.
Gillian added: “Make Your Will Month is the perfect incentive to bring making or updating your will to the top of your ‘to do’ list whilst helping other families too.”
