Neighbours were woken up to four men acting suspiciously in a quiet St Albans street in the early hours of the morning.

A spokeswoman for Herts Police confirmed that officers were called to Priory Walk at 2.15am to reports of four young men acting suspiciously.

They were said to be driving up and down the road in a vehicle.

They have since been arrested and are currently in custody.
