JUMPING out of a plane for charity was a "breathtaking" experience for a multiple sclerosis sufferer from Harpenden.
Robina Kennedy of Milton Road, who was diagnosed with MS in 1982, completed a tandem skydive at an airfield in Brackley to raise money for the MS Society, a charity which she has often turned to for help.
Robina, who has never done a skydive before, said it was an exhilarating experience: "We were soaring through the clouds and the ground looked like a patchwork quilt beneath me. After the instructor opened the parachute, he was kind enough to give me a guided tour from the sky which I greatly thanked him for."
Robina, who invited her two sons along to the event for moral support, set herself a fundraising target of �1,000 and has already doubled it. You can sponsor Robina online via the MS Society website by clicking onto Fundraising and then Sponsor a Friend.
