A woman in a life threatening condition was airlifted to hospital yesterday.
At about 1pm on October 8, a woman in her 50s stopped breathing on Harpenden High Street.
Medical crews in a rapid response vehicle, and a helicopter from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, went to the scene to resuscitate her.
A crowd gathered by the commotion, drawn by the helicopter.
After this treatment, she was taken by land ambulance to Harefield Hospital in a critical condition.
