A road in Harpenden has been reopened following a two-car collision late this morning (Tuesday).

A spokeswoman for Herts Police said that two vehicles collided near Cooters End Lane, off Luton Road, at 11.43am.

One passenger was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital as a precaution, but it is understood there were no serious injuries.

Cooters End Lane was reopened at about 1pm after the vehicles were recovered.
