This dramatic picture shows Monday night’s ‘Supermoon’ in Harpenden, and was captured by amateur photographer Geoff Buckland of the Roundwood area.
Geoff ventured out at 11pm to capture the shot of the annual ‘Supermoon’, which was said to be 16 per cent bigger than the normal moon, and the biggest in 20 years.
The picture was adapted by Geoff, who took an image of the moon from behind the swimming pool building and transposed it on to an image of the Amenbury Lane rooftops.
