A TEENAGE cyclist was robbed of his mobile phone in Harpenden last Sunday, August 23.
The 16-year-old boy was stopped by two men who asked to look at his phone at about 9.30pm in Harpenden Common.
One of the men took the phone, a blue Nokia 5800, from his hand and refused to give it back. Both men, described as clean-shaven Asian men of medium builds, then made off with the phone towards the Silver Cup pub.
The first man is thought to be 5ft 8in tall with black shoulder-length hair and he was wearing a white t-shirt, black hooded jumper and black trousers.
The second suspect was 5ft 10in tall with short black spiky hair and he was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue hooded jumper and jeans.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and anyone with information is asked to call PC Marc Capicotto on 0845 33 00 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
