Harpenden bookworms have been offered a free book for over the Christmas season for the Harpenden Big Read.
Additionally next Thursday, four authors (Leigh Russell, Howard Linskey, Nick Triplow, J. Paul Henderson) will be at Harpenden Books.
Then, from Saturday, December 2 Harpenden Library will be offering free copies of Deadly Alibi by Leigh Russell.
There will be a series of events in 2018 to promote reading, concluding with the Big Read Quiz on Wednesday, March 21.
For those who cannot make it on Saturday, Harpenden Library will provide copies of Deadly Alibi while stocks last.
Harpenden Books will also be selling copies.
The Thursday event is being held 6-8pm at Harpenden Books on High St.
