BEER drinkers have raised their glasses to the continued success of a festival held in the town last week.
The Harpenden Beer Festival, held for the second year in the Public Halls, was organised by the South Herts branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and proved to be a popular draw.
And despite fears that it could lure football fans away from local pubs screening the England v USA game on Saturday night, it was actually Friday which was the most popular day.
