Scouts from Wheathampstead and Harpenden received a £1,000 donation to help with equipment for their Gang Show.
The team from Amazon in Hemel Hempstead donated the money to the district’s Scouts, which is comprised of ten Scout groups and six Explorer units. The groups come together for the Gang Show, a theatre group of young people which has been putting on performances for the public since 1949.
The money will go towards a new projector and printer so the performers can rehearse their lines and develop their acting skills.
Ewan Murray, from the Gang Show, said: “Our productions require a lot of effort, enthusiasm and time from everyone involved.
“Welcome and thoughtful donations like this help keep the show going and improve the quality of what we can offer to the young people. We receive such positive feedback about the show and we look forward to many more years of success!”
