Anyone awake in the early hours of Monday morning in Bricket Wood could be forgiven for thinking they were in the middle of gun shoot-out.
And they wouldn’t be wrong, as reportedly popular crime drama series 24 was being filmed in the area.
Police were called to the end of Bucknalls Lane at around 2am after reports of gunfire from a neighbour. But on arrival they discovered film crews rather than firearms.
Fans of the show, which was recently set in the capital, shared their excitement over potentially seeing iconic character Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, in real life.
Helen Wilcock, a media and communications student at De Montfort University, tweeted: “@RealKiefer We have found the 24 set in bricket wood and are hoping to see you!! We are at the gate by the green screen :).”
