CHILDREN from Great Ormond Street Hospital scrummed down with three Saracens players in a fun coaching session in St Albans recently.

Following a visitor to the children’s hospital, Saracens players were so inspired by the courage shown by patients that they offered to lend a helping hand to the youngsters and their families taking part in this year’s RBC Race for the Kids.

They invited the children to their training ground at Woollams in Harpenden Road where the children met players Jacques Berger, Ben Ramsden and Will Fraser, took part in fitness games with the coaches and rounded off the afternoon with a game of touch rugby.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity is encouraging as many people as possible to take part in the RBC Race for the Kids 5k fun run in Battersea Park on Sunday, June 12. To sign up visit www.raceforthekids.co.uk
