Nick Brown will be joining GTR in November as the new chief operating officer

Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) has appointed its new chief operating officer.

Nick Brown, 56, will join GTR in November replacing Dyan Crowther, who is leaving after two years at the rail franchise.

Charles Horton, chief executive of GTR, said: “I’m looking forward to him (Nick) coming on board and I know he’ll add real value to the business.”
