GRAB your frying pan and head to St Albans Town Hall on Shrove Tuesday for the city's annual Pancake Day race.
Any team of four can take part in the race and everyone who enters will be rewarded with gifts and goodies from McDougalls, the home-baking flour brand which is sponsoring the event.
McDougalls will also be giving out their best Pancake Day recipes to spectators, as well as delicious filling ideas and coupons for its bakery products.
The race will start at midday in the market place outside the Town Hall. To register your team and be in with a chance of stealing the title currently held by the district council's planning team, contact the Tourist and Information Centre on 01727 864511.
