SINGER George Michael is to escape prosecution after falling out of a car while travelling on the M1 near St Albans last month.
The troubled singer, who hails from Radlett, was in hospital for two weeks after suffering head injuries in the incident on May 16.
The former Wham! star was a rear passenger in a Range Rover when he tumbled out of the vehicle. He was airlifted by air ambulance to a specialist trauma centre in London.
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Following a thorough investigation into the collision on the northbound carriageway of the M1, police are no longer investigating this incident and no further action will be taken.”
