FIREFIGHTERS were called to an address in St Albans on Tuesday afternoon, after a fire broke out in a garage.
Crews arrived in Sefton Close at around midday.
It appears that a woman had pulled her car into the garage and then saw the flames coming out of it after she had shut the door.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to open the electric doors and then used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
