Police are searching to find a gang of youths who attempted to rob a man in his 20s

The search is on to find a group of teens who attempted to rob a man in his 20s.

The victim was walking on Harpenden Road in St Albans near the junction with Heath Farm Lane at about 6pm on Friday February 12 when he was approached by a group of 16 and 17 year old boys.

One of them reached into the man’s pockets but nothing was stolen.

Det Serg Karen Lewis, from St Albans’ Local Crime Unit, said: “This is busy so I am appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the incident, or for anyone who has any other information to come forward.”
