WET and blustery weather did not deter the crowds from turning out for Sunday's annual Harpenden Carnival.
Organised by Harpenden Round Table, the carnival began with a procession based on the theme of Planet Earth, wending its way through the High Street and on to Rothamsted Park.
In the park there were plenty of additional attractions including the Essex Dogs Display Team, the MAD mountain bike display team and the World Ten Pin Bowling Challenge.
The proceeds from the carnival will be split between local and national charities.
