ST Albans City Youth FC held their Presentation Evening on Sunday at the Alban Arena.
Former City Youth player Craig Mackail-Smith, now starring for newly-promoted League One side Peterborough United was a guest at the ceremony along with Mayor of St Albans Cllr Bert Pawle and Deputy Mayor Cllr Maxine Crawley.
Awards for reaching 100 appearances for the club were handed out to Rebecca Atkins, Natalie Burrows, Lucy Hancock, Hayley Ladd, Holly Clarke, Chloe Michael, Faith Trounce, Grace Campion, Sammy May, Megan Shaw, Daniel Casotti, Tom Crossley, Jamie Denyer, Josh Farmer, Sam Glanz, Robert Goldstone, William Harding, Stelios Iasonos, Niall McGowan, Craig McConnell, Callum Maginnis, Jacob Noonan, Kieran Rawal, Jamie Renfrew, Ryan Rickard, Edward Rose, Luca Smaldone, Myles Smith, Jamie Spurway, Max Ward, Robert Ward and Dominic Watkins.
Awards for reaching 200 appearances for the club were presented to Jack Ashcroft, Sam Crowne, Nicholas Glasgow, Ben Goodyear, Toby Irish, Kyle Maundrell and Matthew Mawhood.
The club also hailed Paul Spinks for making the Great Britain Special Olympics squad and Hertfordshire Under 16s players Robert Armstrong, Connor Baker, Tom Channing, Harry Crawford, Kieran Ferdinand, Mark Hiller, Robert Magwood, Charles Norman and Luke Thatcher.
Attacker Kelly Hancock was named Player of the Season for the Under 17s Girls. Lucy Hancock and Hayley Ladd shared the award for the Under 15s Girls and Grace Campion and Sam May shared the Under 14s Player of the Season prize. Rhiannon Folan (Under 13s) and Emma Sullivan (Under 11s) shared the award for the girls.
In the Under 18s Boys age group Billy Crack (North), Jamie Peters (West), Troy Petchey and Lewis Fadhel (East) took the Player of the Season awards.
In the Under 16s age group, Robert Magwood and Mark Hiller shared the Player of the Season award for the North, Spencer Mardel-Clark took the prize for South and Tom Clarke picked up the award for the West.
James Lowthian took the Player of the Season award for the Under 15s East and Greg Springall picked up the award for the West, with Tom Pile Player of the Season for the South.
Other Player of the Season award winners: Jamie Denyer (Under 14s East), George Guest and James Pellington (Under 14s West), Tom Fazarkely (Under 13s West). Kyle Parker (Under 13s East), Sam Stead (Under 12s East), Eddie Rose (Under 12s North) and Keelan Churchill (Under 12s South), Alex Gilbert (Under 11s South), Siam Brune-Franklin (Under 11s North), Callum Glenister (Under 11s East), James Cameron (Under 10s North), Nathan Dimmock (Under 10s South), Samuel Cornmell (Under 10s West), James Armstrong (Under 10s Boreal), Jack Gentle and Toby Parker (Under 10s East), Will Sherwood (Under 10s Warriors), John D'Angelo (Under 9s East), Harry Hawkes (Under 9s West), Billy Lawrence (Under 9s South), Charlie Lunnis and William Mattin (Under 9s North), Isaac Raynard (Under 9s Yellow) David Etheridge (Under 8s North), Andrew Oliver (Under 8s South), Matt Caller (Disability squad).
