Colney Heath 2 Welwyn Garden City 1

GOALS from Aaron Clarke and Richard Howard ensured Colney Heath maintained their good form with a derby win at home to Welwyn Garden City on Saturday.

The Magpies had to come from behind to extend their impressive form to just one defeat in seven matches.

Teenage striker Aaron Clarke enhanced his growing reputation with the equaliser from a corner kick and experienced marksman Richard Howard burst clear of the defence to fire the second and give Colney Heath the spoils.

The Magpies make the trip to Kentish Town on Saturday and will be looking to further enhance their position in the Premier Division. Colney Heath are 11th in the table on 17 points with Kentish Town in ninth on 18 points.
