IT was all aboard the Abbey Flyer on Saturday when the railway line between St Albans and Watford hosted Easter Specials for children.
Youngsters arriving at the station were greeted by the Easter Bunny with goody bags full of seasonal gifts. There was also a balloon artist and face painters on board the Easter Special trains, four of which left from St Albans Abbey with four back from Watford Junction.
A free vintage bus was also in operation, meeting the train at Abbey Station and transporting visitors to the city centre and St Albans City Station.
Under-fives travelled free on the special trains with children aged between five and 15 charged a nominal amount for travel.
