TRAIN passengers whose journeys were cut short by yesterday's torrential rain have suffered yet more delays today.

Due to an earlier failed train at Farringdon and a lorry that is struck under a bridge at Leagrave, commuters can expect delays of up to 20 minutes on the Thameslink route today.

First Capital Connect confirmed that there were likely to be some delays, cancellation and possibly some shorter trains than timetabled in this evening's rush hour.
