In an effort to drum up funds to pay for a new play equipment at a park in St Albans, a campaign group are inviting people from across the district to an event tomorrow (14).
Friends of Victoria Playing Fields - a group of residents campaigning to upgrade the dilapidated play facilities on the Folly Lane site - will be offering tea, coffee and sausage sandwiches in an effort to reach the £64,000 target.
St Albans Mayor, councillor Salih Gaygusuz, will be attending the event and a children will also be able to play on a bouncy castle.
