Firefighters and police were called to the road traffic collision at 5.08pm on Tuesday, July 24.
A truck which was carrying hay had overturned on the A405 at the Park Street roundabout in St Albans.
The road was closed for a number of hours while firefighters stemmed a leak from the tank to make the scene safe, due to reports that smoke had been seen coming from the vehicle.
