FRIENDLY Fires have paid tribute this week to their trumpet player who died earlier this month.
Richard Turner, 27, who contributed to the St Albans’ bands live gigs, died after swimming at an open air pool in South London. He had suffered a cardiac arrest.
The band praised the “exceptional musician” and said that Richard’ss contributions to their live gigs would be “hugely missed”.
Richard had played with the band on and off for three years. He can be seen in the You Tube video, warming up before the band’s Benicassim gig this year.
