ST ALBANS: Extra services will be running on the Thameslink route this New Year’s Eve which will be free to passengers.
First Capital Connect (FCC) will be running four extra services between St Pancras and St Albans after midnight and the free travel offer is valid on services departing from London between 11.45pm and 4.30am.
A revised timetable will be running on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and times can be found at www.firstcapitalconnect.com
Michelle Smart, customer service director, said: “FCC will be running free services home on this New Year’s Eve and for the next four years. New Year’s Eve is a time of celebration and customers shouldn’t have to worry about how they’re going to get home which is why we have decided to add extra services to our more popular routes.”
The additional services to St Albans will run at 2am, 2.30am, 3am and 3.30am.
