Westminster Lodge is encouraging people to return to their rackets with a string of free Badminton sessions this November.

Residents can pop down to the Holywell Hill fitness centre between 10 to 12am every Friday throughout the month to give the sport a go.

Steve Cox, Everyone Active contract manager at the centre, said: “Whether you’ve played badminton in the past and are a bit out of touch, or if you fancy giving it a go for the first, come along to one of our free sessions and just have some fun.

“No Strings badminton is a relaxed way for people to give the sport a try. Help is at hand if people want it, but there’s no obligation to take a lesson as such – you can just turn up and start playing. It’s your call.”
