TWO students at Francis Bacon School in St Albans had particular reason to celebrate today after achieving straight A grades at A-level.
Colin Francis, who scored As in English Literature, History and French, and Hollie-Ann Hatherell, who achieved A grades in English Literature, French, Maths and Further Maths, led a strong group of students who have secured their first-choice university places.
Head Jacqui Verrall said: "We are extremely proud of Year 13's achievements at Francis Bacon and wish them every success in their chosen paths.
"These exceptional results are a testament to the hard work and tenacity of students and their teachers. The AS results have given students a good foundation to progress and achieve their A2 targets.
