A RESTAURANT’S cellar flooded in the heavy rainfall last night.
Firefighters from St Albans were called to Sazio, in High Street, St Albans, at around 8pm as the deluge hit.
They pumped the water out of the cellar and switched off the electricity, which had been affected by the flooding.
The firefighters were called to a high number of other incidents in various locations across the county which were worse affected by the bad weather and issued advice to some concerned people over the phone.
