FIVE people were taken to hospital following a crash in Redbourn yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
The East of England Ambulance Service were called to the A5183 (Dunstable Road) at around 3pm, following the collision between a van and a car. Crews from Hemel Hempstead, Luton and Watford attended and firefighters from St Albans were also called to free a person who was trapped.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “All five casualties received slight injuries and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation at the roadside by ambulance crews, they were all taken to Luton & Dunstable Hospital for further care.”
