PRE-SCHOOLERS at a St Albans nursery recently enjoyed a visit from a local fire crew. Youngsters at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery, London Road, dressed as firefighters, held hoses and sat inside a fire engine during a visit from St Albans fire station.

Owner and manager Amanda Griffiths said it was a continuation of lessons aimed at teaching pre-schoolers about safe people and the world around them. She described it as, “a wonderful visit from the fire brigade.”
