A CHILDREN’S slide was deliberately set alight this morning.
A crew from St Albans Fire Station were called to the fire in a Longacres park, just off Oakdene Way, at around 7am.
They used a hose reel to extinguish the flames, which took just over thirty minutes to bring under control.
