A fire broke out at a card shop in St Albans this morning ahead of the annual food and drink festival.
Two pumps from St Albans Fire Station attended the scene at Clintons in St Peter’s Street at around 10am.
Herts Fire Control have confirmed that nobody was injured, and one hose reel was used to extinguish the blame.
Today marked the festival’s main event in St Peter’s Street with a cookery theatre, farm, pop-up restaurants and bars, 100 food stalls and music.
The festival will continue until Monday, October 8.
