FLAMES are currently tearing through a village pub.
Firefighters are battling the blaze which broke out in the Spotted Dog Pub in Flamstead High Street just before 4pm this afternoon (Monday).
A spokesperson for the Herts Fire and Rescue Service said that the roof and the first floor of the property were well alight.
Six fire crews and an incident control unit are currently on the scene.
The roof of the building has partially collapsed and firefighters have been withdrawn from the interior.
